We were so happy with our decision to have Mark Lockett play at our wedding. He did a fantastic job and his band exceeded our expectations!!
It was a daunting prospect emailing artists for wedding entertainment in France. We were unsure of what to expect and had very little by the way of reviews to go by. Mark was quick to respond and helped us with some fantastic suggestions. We booked Mark for the full day and then his band Le Quat' Cats for our evening reception. Value for money is an understatement! We exchanged emails and Mark gave us some ideas of what he had played at previous weddings, he even offered to learn any songs we wanted. We met Mark in France a few months before the wedding and he was happy to discuss the day and what he could do for us. We also kept in touch by email which was really helpful and reassuring when planning a wedding abroad.
On the day, Mark played piano at our service and during our meal. He also played accordion during our drinks reception which was a lovely touch. What was really nice was that Mark played songs that were special to us but also knew exactly what to play without us having to bother him. The accordion really contributed to the atmosphere of the day. In the evening Mark and his band performed an acoustic set which was absolutely fantastic. Classic 60s rock and roll kept everyone on their feet dancing. People are still commenting on how good the band were. We were especially pleased and surprised that the band had learned or first dance and played it live rather than just putting the track on. They really made our night brilliant!
From start to finish, Mark and the band made our wedding even more special. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Friendly, helpful, professional and sounded brilliant. What more can you ask!!
